Dodgeball

Dodgeball should become a real sport. It's such a good spectator sport.

Install Flash 9 Beta on Linux

Go to Adobe Labs: http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer9.html

And "Download Installer for Linux (GZ, 2.48 MB)"

Then unpackage it via terminal or some other program

If you're using the terminal you type in:
Quote:
tar -zxvf FP9_plugin_beta_112006.tar.gz

Note: Make sure you're in the right directory.

Then copy and paste the libflashplayer.so file into your mozilla plugin's folder, usually it's in your home folder, but you have to change your settings to view hidden files. On Ubuntu the folder you're looking for is ./mozilla/plugins/

OfficeMax be damned! Staples all the way!

Well today, after an exciting morning of buying paint, folders, and a sharpie, I had the every enjoyable experience of locking my keys in the car ignition. That has got to be the stupidest thing I have ever done in my life. The second stupidest thing was that I failed to see the magnetic key holder underneath the car. I spent a good 5 minutes looking like I was about to carjack my own damn car in the middle of the parking lot; that's not even including the other 5 minutes I had my arm halfway jammed through the slit that I left down. Thankfully, after calming down a little and making a couple phone calls, I realized that I didn't need to pull up the lock on the door, I just needed to hit the automatic unlock button. With this eureka moment, I ran back into Staples and kindly asked the 30 year old with the beard, who had earlier asked me if I needed assistance, to help me break into my own car. With his gift of the use of a metal rod, I was able to free the car from it's comatose state blaring out alternative rock from 101.1.
