ZenWalk

Well, Zenwalk hasn't exactly been a peaceful experience, had they included a nice little installer GUI, I would have been quite happy. Also it might have been nice to know that as a normal user I cannot run any commands, I mean seriously; I spent almost a good hour trying to install ndiswrapper, a good portion of that hour was drivled away trying to transfer the damn thing. Thankfully, the ndiswrapper included with Zenwalk worked flawlessly. Now the only "problems," they're actually more or less annoyances, is that I have to press the power button to shut off and I have to fire up Wifi-Scaner or whatever it's called to get internet. Otherwise, everything's running fairly well. One thing I have noticed is that I am far more patient with guis than with terminal. A couple of clicks is no biggie, a couple of keystrokes is death. ;)
Oh right, just a reminder. ZenWalk is a variant of Slackware so just use the package thing to install stuff, Zenwalk or Slackware versions, and we'll be just fine.
So for the record, 3 of 4 computers in the Tsai household are running Linux: Ubuntu, Kubuntu and ZenWalk.

REQUIRED!
